Omnitek Partners was recently portrayed as a model example of a successful Phase III effort within the SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) program. Based on breakthrough technology patented by Omnitek, the company has developed novel miniature igniters for thermal batteries that can be used in military and commercial applications.
